    Missouri Baptist Hospital in **Sullivan, MO** has an opening for a Massage Therapist, located at the Therapy and Wellness center at 975 Mattox Dr. In this roll, you will do 15,30,45,60 or 90-minute massages, both soft tissue and deep tissue. Also, hot stone, facial massages and foot scrubs.

    40-hours weekly

    2 evenings until 7:00 pm

    2 Saturdays a month, swapping Fridays

    **Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital** is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties.

     

    The hospital has enhanced and expanded the health care services available to the greater Sullivan community with its state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multiroom surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 square-foot medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians as well as space for a variety of visiting medical and surgical specialists from the St. Louis area.

     

    Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital operates four rural health clinics providing quality health care to surrounding communities. In addition, the hospital operates a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department and an award-winning Wound Care Center with two hyperbaric chambers.

     

    Physical, occupational and speech therapies are offered at the Sullivan Sports Fitness & Rehabilitation Center, 216 West Main Street. The Center offers a full range of therapies with the equipment and staff to treat children and adults with traumatic head or spinal injuries; cerebral vascular accidents; orthopedic or sports injuries; swallowing or language disorders; and burns. The Center provides an exercise specialist and massage therapist, and operates a fully equipped exercise facility open to the community through memberships. The Physical Rehab Dept is certified by the Missouri State Division of Workers' Compensation to treat occupational injuries.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Role Purpose

     

    To provide therapeutic massage therapy services to patients and/or clients per approved orders.

    Responsibilities

    + Completes assigned massage therapy appointments and documentation according to department policies and standards of certified massage therapy.

    + Assists the department manager in program development, improvement, techniques, and member education.

    + Instructs and presents educational information approved by the department.

    Education

    + High School Diploma or GED

    Experience
