As the Data Engineer Intern, you'll support the design, development, and maintenance of data platforms and solutions under the guidance of senior engineers. You'll work with cross-functional teams to learn best practices in building data integration solutions and services to meet business needs.

About the role

+ Assist in identifying and investigating data quality issues under senior engineer guidance

+ Support the development of Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes from various data repositories

+ Learn to work in hybrid data environments with on-premises and cloud data warehouses

+ Assist in designing and documenting relational and non-relational data models

+ Support monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues in data environments

+ Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions with the team

About** **you

Minimum Qualifications

+ Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in computer science, information technology, or a related field

+ Foundational knowledge of relational and non-relational databases

+ Basic proficiency writing SQL queries

+ Familiarity with at least one functional or object-oriented programming language

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience with Python or similar scripting languages

+ Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

+ Understanding of REST APIs and data integration concepts

+ Exposure to CI/CD tools or automated deployment processes
