Description
The Department of PM&R at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) located in Rochester, NY is seeking applicants for a faculty position with a primary appointment in the Department of PM&R and with a potential secondary appointment in the Department of Orthopaedics. We are seeking expertise to add to our growing PM&R interventional spine and pain program, which is fully integrated as the interventional component of the University of Rochester Spine Center, a multidepartment center with the University of Rochester Department of Orthopaedics division of spine surgery. This position would add to the 20 providers at the University of Rochester Spine Center, whose central hub is a new state of the art ambulatory musculoskeletal building with dedicated ORs and interventional spine/pain procedure suites. This role carries ample opportunity to pursue academic scholarly activity and interests: supporting the education mission consisting of teaching and mentoring fellows, residents and medical students as well as the support to pursue research interests. This position comes with a faculty appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates would be BC/BE eligible having completed a NASS accredited ISMM fellowship in interventional spine or ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Pain Management fellowship. Ideal candidates have a keen interest in teaching PM&R fellows, residents and medical students.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
