Effective risk management professionals play a pivotal role in achieving organizational success and protecting and preserving an organization’s vital assets and resources. **What is this career opportunity?** We are seeking an*Enterprise Insurance Manager*who will oversee all 30 commercial and_self-insured_property/casualty insurance programs and renewals each fiscal year on behalf of 57 agencies, 10 universities, and hundreds of boards, councils, and commissions, and who will report to the RMTD Administrator/Chief Risk Officer. These programs include, but are not limited to, aircraft, airports, auto, boilers & machinery, crime/fidelity, cyber, fine art, foreign insurance (liability and kidnap/ransom), foster care, notary bond, professional liability insurance (student interns), property, special events, and surety bond. Many of these programs are central to the continuity of state agency/university operations. Additionally, this position will support the Finance Officer/Underwriting Manager to gather and collect insurance applications, insurance schedules, actuarial loss cost data, update the division’s funding/rate model, and maintain the functionality and operation of the division’s technology platform known as the state Property/Casualty Insurance Information System (PCIIS). This role requires an exceptional communicator skilled in engaging across state government, university systems, and insurance partners.
