The Information Management and Collections Division serve Montana citizens and businesses through processing tax returns, refunds, and payments timely and accurately, integrating improved technology to enhance the user experience, increasing electronic filing, resolving overdue debt, and collection other state debt. * * *_DUTIES_* *Job Overview:* This position resides in theInformation Management and Collections DivisionofDepartment of Revenue. Duties include coordinating the ongoing program activities of processing incoming correspondence, payments, returns and data. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining data, tracking data and system performance, ensuring secure handling and processing of taxpayer information. The incumbent provides consultation, technical assistance, training, and outreach to internal and external users to promote effective system operations. This includes overseeing system research, enhancement, validation, readiness, and reporting projects. The position resides in the Information Management Bureau which comprised of three units, Customer & Payment Management, Digitization, and Information Governance. The position reports to the Unit Manager. This position does not supervise other staff. *This is a temporary seasonal position with the peak workload generally from February through June (may work up to six months).
