YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
+ Lead Resource Optimization: Drive the optimization of resource allocation by proactively identifying and mitigating risks. Foster strong stakeholder engagement to ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations across all levels of the organization.
+ Champion Quality Assurance: Emphasize a culture of quality assurance, setting high standards for deliverables. Actively promotes continuous improvement through constructive feedback and evaluations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
+ Evaluation and Enhance Systems: Lead the evaluation of existing systems to identify gaps and design comprehensive solutions that enhance research capabilities. Insights will be vital in optimizing data utilization across fieldwork, controlled environments, and laboratory settings.
+ Innovate with Technology: Proactively assess both current and emerging technologies to recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and scientific output. Position the department as a leader in research innovation through strategic technological advancements.
+ Create Strategic Process Maps: Lead the development of comprehensive journey maps and process maps that visualize scientific research processes across various environments. Utilize these strategic tools to identify process improvements, simplify workflows, and enhance collaboration among teams.
+ Monitor Project Progress: Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to established budget constraints. Utilize project management tools to track progress, assess financial status, and communicate variances and corrective actions to stakeholders effectively.
+ Implement Rigorous Quality Metrics: Foster a culture of excellence by implementing rigorous quality assurance practices. Establish quality metrics and continuous monitoring to track performance, facilitating timely interventions and adjustments as necessary.
+ Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Open dialogues will be led through regular updates, feedback sessions, and collaborative workshops, ensuring that stakeholder needs are met and expectations are aligned.
+ Analyze Data Pipeline Needs: Define and analyze data pipeline requirements concerning storage, access, processing, analytics, and reporting. Establish clear frameworks for data management that uphold data integrity, security, and accessibility while enabling robust analytics and visualization to support informed decision-making.
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor or Master’s degree in plant biology science fields or related technical fields OR 5 years of experience in relevant technical field
+ Highly skilled at managing digital portfolios and projects, as well as team relations (IT and stakeholders)
+ Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
+ Strong domain knowledge of the R&D pipeline, Biotech and Global Breeding
+ Ability to work Independently with minimal supervision
+ Capable of analyzing complex situations, identifying opportunities and threats, and formulating actionable plans to achieve long-term goals.
+ Capable of developing and implementing IT strategies that align with overall business goals. This skill involves understanding the organization’s vision and ensuring that technology initiatives support and drive strategic objectives.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $116,939.20 - $175,408.80 Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
