A U.S.-based manufacturer specializing in OTC drug products, personal care, skincare, haircare, pet care, and cosmetics is seeking qualified candidates for a Manufacturing Technician position. This position will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment used in the production of goods, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. This position is located in Titusville.

What’s the Job?

+ Follow all cGMP’s (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and Safety Procedures

+ Understand and follow manufacturing and filling procedures.

+ Set up and operate equipment used in mixing or filling. Clean/sanitize equipment, as needed.

+ Dispense raw materials for batches based on specific quantities on the procedure.

+ Use steam and cooling water systems to heat and cool batches.

+ Observes batch production and reports as needed. Complete required documentation properly.

+ Maintain accurate inventory.

+ Cleaning and Housekeeping to include dispose/recycle empty containers and general housekeeping and cleanliness of surrounding work area

+ Perform other duties as needed or assigned

What’s Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Experience in a manufacturing environment involving cGMP practices. Mixing experience, a plus.

+ Experience in manufacturing OTC drug products, personal/skincare or haircare/cosmetic items, pet care is highly desired.

+ Must read, write and speak in English and communicate clearly and effectively

+ Able to participate in team environment

+ Good math skills, basic computer skills for email and data entry

+ Ability to routinely lift up to 80 pounds

+ Mechanical skill a plus

+ Must be able to become Forklift certified
