Audio/Visual Support Specialist – Make an Impact in Maine’s Judicial System!
Pay: $22-23 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days
Assignment Length: Long-Term Contract
We’re hiring an Audio/Visual Support Specialist for an exciting opportunity with the State of Maine Department. **This is an urgent, high-priority role** offering **$22–$23/hr** and is a **long-term contract** position.
This is a **unique chance to work in a dynamic environment supporting courtroom technology and remote proceedings** - perfect for tech-savvy professionals who enjoy variety and problem-solving.
Typical Daily Duties:
+ Provide technical support for staff and courtroom participants (in person or remotely) on audio/video equipment setup and operation.
+ Assist with VOIP desk-set usage, document cameras, audio listening equipment, and general presentation software.
+ Host remote video proceedings in special circumstances.
+ Present IT training to individuals and groups.
+ Support and learn various platforms such as Zoom, Windows, OSX, Google, Unix, Android, and iOS.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Ability to travel for the position (must have own vehicle and clean driving record).
+ Experience with videoconferencing and audiovisual equipment.
+ Skilled in diagnosing and fixing Tier 1 computer issues.
