    Description : Plans and facilitates scheduled activity groups which include a wide variety of health-promoting life skills and leisure activities, such as sports, games, music, arts and crafts, and gardening. Orders supplies and/or equipment that enhance activity programs. Observes, analyzes, and records clients' participation, reactions, and progress during activity groups in the electronic medical record according to hospital and Activity Therapy Department requirements. Communicated with team members as well as Activity Therapy staff in order to plan and evaluate activity programs, share individuals response to groups, and confer with team members on any other relevant clinical matter. Plans, organizes, directs and implements campus wide, unit based, or off campus special events and programs to facilitate clients' rehabilitation and help them integrate into the community.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Valid driver's license from the state of Georgia or from the state in which candidate resides and clear motor vehicle report. At least One year of experience as a Health Aide 2 or equivalent. Experience in supervision or leadership role is a plus but not required.

    Employment Requirements
