Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience working for a Georgia State Agency, particularly in grants administration, budget, or fiscal operations.

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for budgeting, expenditure tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

+ Experience in TeamWorks Peoplesoft Financials and Oracle Planning and Budget Cloud Service (PBCS).

+ One or more years’ experience in financial management, expenditure analysis, forecasting, and reconciliation utilizing Excel and financial reporting databases.

+ Experience coordinating budget activities across multiple departments, programs, or external partners/customers as appropriate.

+ Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is advantageous but not required.

Comments:

GDC Budget Services is seeking two (2) qualified candidates. This position will be filled as a Budget Analyst 1, 2, or 3 depending upon the experience and education of the selected applicant.

Notes: The position is assigned to the Budget Services Department located at the State Offices South at Tift College in the City of Forsyth, GA (Monroe County). Associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university; or two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience.
