Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care.
Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians.
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support.
+ Demonstrates the ability to safely and competently perform tasks and procedures according to Medical Center policy and procedure. Including, but not limited to:
+ Performs/assists in performing all Technical Procedures of ECHO and stress labs.
+ May be required to participate in on-care rotation.
+ Maintains, prepares and distributes reports and records.
+ Assists others with tasks affecting operations.
+ Performs daily maintenance and maintains supply inventory.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED:
+ Theoretical background in basicelectronics, hemodynamic measurements,exercise stress testing, cardiacsonography and vascular procedures.
+ Basic Life Support - CPR certification through American Heart Association
PREFERRED:
+ Completion of an approved (AMA)Program for Cardiovascular Technology or other allied health field with Certificate preferred.
+ Membership in NationalOrganization for CardiovascularTechnologists is desirable
+ Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI
+ Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Pay Range
$61.37 - $71.14 /hour
