In this position...
Responsibilities include managing the fuel system engineering team that designs and releases fuel tanks, fuel pumps, fuel delivery systems, fuel refilling systems, SCR systems, evaporative emissions systems, sensors, and fuel indication.
What you'll do...
The manager will oversee fuel systems for all Ford vehicles globally. The manager will ensure that all designs meet design rules, pass through the DV requirements, comply with requirements and regulations, and are able to be produced at volume. The manager will lead CCRG discussions and durability failure discussions. The manager will oversee WERS releases, guide 8D resolution of issues, work on sourcing actions, work on TVM actions, and resolve OPD and quality issues. The manager will interact with the Ford supply base and the Ford vehicle teams.
You'll have...
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar related degree
+ Seasoned professional
+ Strong knowledge of the Ford D&R process
+ Strong knowledge of Fuel Systems
+ Strong knowledge of Engineering Excellence and Tech Club process
+ Experience in fuel system D&R
+ Experience in fuel system Core
+ History of developing a strong team
+ Strong interpersonal skills for problem solving
+ Strong presentation skills for management presentations
+ Ability to guide team in evening, weekend, and holiday high priority situations
