As a global leader in advanced mobility solutions, our outstanding team of legal professionals helps us navigate the continually changing legal and regulatory landscape. In our Office of General Counsel, you’ll be part of an organization that collaborates with outside counsel to operate as a global team and deliver world-class legal, tax and audit services to client groups throughout the company.

    In this position...

Be at the heart of Ford's privacy strategy. You will play a pivotal role in connecting and empowering our internal privacy network, from our dedicated privacy champions to executive leadership. Your work will directly enable effective communication, resource sharing, and critical reporting, ensuring a cohesive and strong privacy posture across the entire company.

Expand your expertise across diverse privacy initiatives. This role offers unique exposure to a wide array of privacy program activities, including managing public-facing privacy notices and contributing to executive-level reports. You will develop a broad understanding of data protection principles, regulations, and operational challenges, accelerating your growth in the privacy domain.

Drive impactful collaboration and efficiency. Your contributions will directly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our privacy program by streamlining communication and ensuring our privacy champions and leadership have the support they need. You will be instrumental in fostering a strong privacy-aware culture and making a tangible difference in how Ford manages and protects data.

    What you'll do...

+ You will orchestrate communication and resource sharing among internal privacy champions, executive leadership, and external stakeholders, fostering a unified and efficient approach to privacy.

+ You will support the preparation and coordination of key reports for the Audit Committee and other executive bodies, translating complex privacy program updates into clear, actionable insights.

+ You will manage the coordination of Ford's privacy notices, overseeing their updates, renewals, and launches to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance across all company platforms.

+ You will provide operational support for the team, and assist with various program initiatives, demonstrating versatility to sub in wherever needed.

+ You will collaborate closely with legal teams and privacy analysts to ensure alignment and support for all privacy initiatives.

    You'll have...

+ 5 or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

    Even better, you may have...

+ Understanding of data privacy principles or a strong interest in learning about privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

+ Experience supporting legal, compliance, or privacy teams, especially with public-facing documentation or executive reporting.

+ Familiar with project management methodologies or tools.

+ Professional privacy certifications, such as CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) or CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager).

+ Experience working in a large, complex organization.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above?
