    Summary of the Role:

    Join a dynamic team where your technical drafting expertise will help shape critical infrastructure projects. As a **CAD Technician** , you’ll apply advanced CAD skills and engineering principles to create detailed, accurate drawings that support construction, modification, and maintenance of essential facilities.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Utilize CAD tools to prepare drawings from redline sketches, notes, marked-up prints, and verbal instructions.

    + Interpret and integrate engineering and geographic data from internal teams and external consultants.

    + Coordinate with departments for survey data, permitting, scheduling, and stakeholder reviews.

    + Attend pre-design and pre-construction meetings as needed.

    + Complete field checks to verify accuracy of maps, exhibits, and records.

    + Apply drafting procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance.

    + Use GIS tools for data management and maintain understanding of distribution systems and assets.

    + Prioritize deliverables and manage feedback to produce high-quality design drawings efficiently.

    + Recommend process improvements and support project workflow.

    What It Takes to Succeed:

    + Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD preferred).

    + Ability to read civil drawings and interpret technical details.

    + Basic map reading and spatial orientation skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and time management.

    + Ability to work collaboratively and follow project workflows.

    **Pay Details:** $27.97 to $44.06 per hour
