    We are currently looking for an Associate Field Technician/Field Technician/ Sr. Field Technician for our Oaktown, IN office.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all pipeline facilities at our Oaktown storage field and compressor station. You will be required to comply with all Company, DOT, OSHA, and Environmental rules and regulations, learn the Company OMS process for documenting job functions as required, and will occasionally be required to perform unscheduled or emergency work. Additionally, you will be required to learn all Pipeline ROW Routes and learn to handle all encroachment activities as well as perform in a lead role and direct the actions of others when fully qualified. You will be required to learn to operate the Oaktown Compressor Station and will need to be self-motivated and work with limited supervision and when qualified, participate in the On-Call duties and respond to call outs as necessary.

     

    Normal work hours for this role are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST Monday – Friday; however, this position is subject to occasional schedule adjustments as needed and the successful candidate must live within 30 miles of the Oaktown compressor station. The candidate could be asked to help in other districts on occasion.

    REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple task

    + Experience with Microsoft programs ability to read, comprehend and follow company procedures and manufactured guidelines

    + Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 ft. in order to transfer tools and equipment, the ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns, and the ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy and wet environments

    + V alid driver’s license with a safe driving record and the ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle

    + S trong commitment to personal and team safety

    + Corrosion Experience

    + Electrical Experience

    + Mechanical Experience

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:

    + Technical School or College
