Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mfg. Operator II to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role is essential in ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing environment.
Primary Duties
+ Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery efficiently and safely, adhering to all company guidelines and safety regulations.
+ Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications, performing regular inspections and tests as required.
+ Assist in setting up machines and tooling for production runs, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain production flow.
+ Maintain accurate production records, including inputting data related to machine performance, product quality, and any deviations observed during shifts.
+ Participate actively in continuous improvement programs by providing feedback and suggestions to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
+ Ensure workstations are clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and other housekeeping standards.
+ Follow all safety and environmental policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.
+ Support training and development efforts for junior manufacturing operators as required.
Qualifications
+ Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable, particularly with mechanical or automated equipment.
+ Strong understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes.
+ Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and technical documentation.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify issues early and suggest corrective actions.
+ Effective communication skills to collaborate within diverse teams and across shifts.
+ Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-driven environment.
Education / Experience
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous manufacturing experience and familiarity with standard manufacturing equipment or processes will be considered an advantage. On-the-job training and certifications may be provided to support employee development and career progression.
