What you’ll do:

As an escrow officer, you serve as the main contact for agents, buyers, and sellers during the closing process. Your role includes presenting documents, conducting signings, and ensuring all parties understand each step from contract to closing while managing communication and transaction coordination.

This role also requires regular mobility.

+ The Escrow Officer in the West Bend market must be comfortable traveling between nearby offices to support clients and branch partners as needed.

What You’ll Do

+ **Lead communication** with agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders throughout the closing process.

+ **Coordinate with internal teams** (title, escrow support, branch staff) to keep files moving efficiently.

+ **Present closing documents** clearly and professionally to buyers and sellers.

+ **Conduct closings** for both lender‑funded buyers and sellers.

+ **Review contracts and instructions** to ensure accuracy and alignment prior to closing.

+ **Provide status updates** and set expectations at each stage of the transaction.

+ **Travel to West Bend and surrounding offices** regularly to support closing activity.

+ **Support business development** by nurturing agent relationships and reinforcing a high‑trust service experience.

+ **Coach and collaborate** with escrow assistants as needed to maintain quality and accuracy.

_Note: In Wisconsin, Escrow Officers do_ **_not_** _clear title, produce title commitments, or prepare escrow closing files._

Qualifications:

What you must have:

+ Notary Public license (or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire)

+ General understanding of the real estate closing process (training available)

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

What we’d like you to have:

+ **Experience:** Two to three years of escrow experience, both front- and back-end experience.

+ **Certification:** Notary public and escrow officer licenses.

+ **Industry awareness:** Technical knowledge of closing process.

+ **Computer skills:** Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

+ **Communications skills:** Strong written and verbal skills to keep agents, buyers, sellers, and all other parties up to date with the process.
