Position Overview:
The Clinician (FIRST - "Families in Recovery Support" Steps Together) provides counseling and therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families facing emotional, relational, or psychological issues. By facilitating communication, developing coping strategies, and offering evidence-based interventions, the clinician helps clients address conflicts, improve relationships, and manage life challenges. This role is crucial in promoting mental wellness and strengthening family systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provide dyadic therapy and parenting support to individuals working towards substance use disorder recovery
+ Provide clinical services in a home-based or community-based setting
+ Collaborate on completing client assessments and treatment plans
+ Provide case management/collaboration amongst other providers
+ Be available to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs
+ Collaborate with Family Recovery Support Specialists (peer staff) within the program
+ Facilitate parenting and recovery groups as assigned
+ Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of program and individuals
+ Maintaining strict confidentiality is a necessity in this position
Required Education and Experience:
+ Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
+ Massachusetts independent licensure as an LMHC, or active participation in a pre-established plan to obtain independent licensure within two years of hire
+ Experience working in the field of Substance Addiction Services preferred
+ Experience working with parents and infants/young children preferred
+ Ability to work both in the office and remotely from home
+ Strong computer skills including an ability to host telehealth sessions and use electronic health records
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
+ Able to work both independently and in a team setting

Compensation:
A salary within the range of $78,200 to $105,800 annually (for full time hires) will be provided to the successful candidate having met the minimum requirements for the position consistent with the MOC compensation philosophy.
