    _Salary Range: $116,000 - $140,000_

     

    Ops Tech Alliance is seeking a Lead Systems Architect to design, develop, and implement sophisticated, secure, cloud-based IT solutions and system architectures. This position plays a key role in ensuring successful integration, interoperability, and modernization of complex, mission-critical systems within a secure government environment.

     

    You’ll collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure modernized systems align with both enterprise objectives and mission requirements. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, driving innovation, and building technology that’s ready for the future.

     

    _THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD._

    Responsibilities

    + Design and implement advanced system architectures, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance in cloud and hybrid cloud environments.

    + Develop technical strategies, roadmaps, and blueprints aligned with project requirements and strategic goals.

    + Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior architects, engineers, and developers, fostering knowledge transfer and capability growth.

    + Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools to meet evolving customer requirements and operational standards.

    + Collaborate with Information Security Analysts and network/system administrators to ensure robust cybersecurity frameworks and compliance with RMF, STIG, and relevant security guidelines.

    Required Qualifications

    + Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, or a related technical discipline.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience architecting and implementing technology solutions, specifically within cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

    + Certified AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent professional experience.

    + Proven expertise in DevSecOps, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation practices.

    Desired Qualifications

    + Certified AWS Solutions Architect Professional

    + 5 - 10 years of experience overseeing IC technology projects or similar experience

    + SDLC and/or DevSecOps experience

    + Master’s Degree or higher in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, information technology/systems or equivalent.
