    Job Details

    The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering direct care to patients and utilizing physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician.

    Responsibilities:

    + Evaluates patient and creates treatment plan

    + Employee is able to provide verbal and written educational material to patients when appropriate

    + Recognizes the need for involvement of other disciplines

    + Creates a recommended discharge plan

    + Performs and records daily clinical notes

    + Participates in performance improvement initiatives Completes department mandatory in-service/training/competency within specified time frame

    + Participates in education of staff and students within the medical center

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

    + Licensed and registered PT in the State of New York.

    + BLS required.

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $60.94 - USD $60.94 /Hr.
