    Security Officer

    Job Details

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Responding promptly to emergencies and security incidents

    + Controlling facility access and ensuring only authorized personnel enter

    + Conducting regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas

    + Assisting with fire safety inspections and staff education

    + Providing courteous support and assistance to patients, staff, and visitors

    + Preparing clear and timely incident reports

    Job Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + NYS Security Guard License or Active Duty Law Enforcement required

    + Valid NYS Driver’s License required

    + BLS & AED Certification required

    + One year of security experience preferred (hospital setting a plus)

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills
