    Job Details

    Responsibilities:

    This is a shared position between the Breast Health Center and Palliative Care Department and will require the following responsibilities:

    + Answers phones in a timely, professional manner, and relays messages to appropriate personnel.

    + Oversees schedules for the department management

    + Coordinates location, equipment, and meals for meetings, appointments, and luncheons.

    + Performs typing, copying, filing, faxing, and mailing of correspondence.

    + Maintains the department policy and procedure binder.

    + Maintains the NAPBC protocol manual updates.

    + Assists in preparation for NAPBC chart review

    + Maintains CME records for NAPBC team

    + Maintains BHC and WIC patient databases

    + Maintains the Palliative Care daily patient list

    + Maintains the intranet webpages.

    + Takes and transcribes minutes to meetings.

    + Prepares schedules, as needed by the department/assignment

    + Assists in coordination of projects as assigned.

    + Prepares check requests and purchase orders for invoices and reimbursements.

    + Responsible for placing work orders upon request.

    + Creates and maintains department forms

    + Types dictated notes to file, memos, letters, etc.

    + Assists in budget preparation and tracking.

    + Prepares and maintains various spreadsheets with employee, equipment, and financial information.

    + Provides administrative support.

    + Assists in the setup of new hires.

    + Assists with completion of billing sheets.

    + Collects, reviews, and submits timesheets/exception sheets.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent

    + Ability to communicate effectively and professionally; strong computer stills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & EPIC. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to attend to details, required.

    + Previous secretarial position in professional office, preferred.

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $20.90 - USD $31.35 /Hr.

     

    This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
