    Decider News Intern

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative News Intern (24 hrs/week) to join our team this

    spring! If you’re passionate about pop culture, entertainment, streaming, and all things trending,

    this is your chance to get hands-on editorial experience with a rapidly growing digital property.

    As a paid internship (eligible for credit), you'll be part of the action, working directly with a

    talented news team while learning the ins and outs of digital reporting, content creation, and

    breaking news!

    audiences discover and engage with streaming content. At Decider, we blend creativity with

    strategy to deliver content that resonates with viewers, making every day an exciting adventure

    in the world of entertainment. This internship gives you the chance to make an impact in the

    rapidly growing world of digital entertainment news.

    Note: This internship is scheduled to run from February 2, 2026 - April 10, 2026 . Participants

    are expected to work part time hours and adhere to our on-site work schedule. Open to current

    juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their

    degree within the past year

    What You’ll Do:

    • Conduct research for exciting content the Decider team is working on, from articles and

    lists to reports and deep dives.

    • Gather and edit digital assets (images, screencaps, GIFs, videos) that bring Decider

    stories to life.

    • Participate in content planning meetings and pitch your own fresh ideas for blog posts,

    galleries, videos, and social media campaigns.

    • Execute approved content on Decider.com and across our social channels (Facebook,

    Twitter, Instagram) to engage our audience.

    • Assist the Decider News Editor in covering the latest entertainment, streaming, and pop

    culture news with speed and accuracy.

     

    • Write and report weekly stories, SEO-driven articles, and blog posts—getting your byline

    out there!

    • You’ll gain invaluable experience in editorial, research, and social media, all while

    learning from industry pros in a fun and collaborative environment.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A pop culture aficionado who knows what’s trending, what’s classic, and everything in

    between.

    • A creative and flexible thinker who loves finding new angles on entertainment stories

    and social trends.

    • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates

    with readers.

    • A multitasker with excellent time-management skills who thrives in a fast-paced

    environment.

    • An eager team player who’s excited to contribute and learn from experienced journalists.

    • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is required, and knowledge of WordPress is a huge

    plus!
