• Shipping and Receiving Group Leader

    JOB SUMMARY: The Shipping and Receiving Group Leader is responsible for performing daily operational and administrative tasks related to the accurate and timely distribution and the shipping of products to Indium Corporations departments and to customers, and may be required to perform manual shipping and receiving tasks due to business demand, or in the Shipping Supervisors absence or as assigned, is responsible for performing delegated non-personnel related work management activities.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

    • Schedule/prioritize work within the shipping and receiving department

    • Observe all safety and security requriements

    • Observe all shipping regulations and customer requests

    • Complete any and all required documentation

    • Develop and maintain working knowledge of processes within the shipping and receiving department and assist the Shipping and Receiving Technicians with making decisions when troubleshooting problems

    • In supervisor’s absence, refer personnel matters requiring immediate attention to another department supervisor, manager or Human Resources

    • Develop supervisory skills through formal and informal trainings

    • Provide input on success and learning potential of Shipping and Receiving Technicians

    • Uphold and promote the standards of Indium Corporation’s quality management system, including following procedures and work instructions, and recommending improvements

    • Attend training as needed or assigned

    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    • Demonstrated mentoring and leadership qualities

    • Hazmat certification

    • Basic computer data entry skills and basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word

    • Good oral and written communication skills

    • Proven decision making ability

    • Ability to work independently with verbal or written instructions

    • Ability to teach and mentor

    • Ability to audit financial transactions and work of others

    • Ability to perform under pressure

    • Ability to develop an understanding of Indium Corporation products and services

    WAGE DISCLOSURE:

    The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

     

    The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.

     

    $17.50 per hour - $25.50 per hour

     

    ($36,500 - $53,000 annually)
