The **Senior Marketing Strategy Support Consultant** drives operational excellence and strategic decision-making through the management of marketing processes, programs and technology. This role ensures effective process optimization, the adoption of tools and data-driven insights to support global marketing initiatives. You will serve as a key collaborator of the Director of Marketing, leveraging technology, analytics, and strategic thinking to improve marketing performance and align initiatives with business goals. You ensure that marketing investments are not only aligned but deliver on our commitment to customers and the organization through budget and results analysis. You are able to package strategies, initiatives and outcomes into presentable formats for diverse internal audiences. You are a natural problem-solver who uses your curious nature to dig-in to find answers and then take the next steps to implement optimal solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Process Management
+ Lead medium to large-scale marketing projects with moderate to high complexity.
+ Streamline workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
+ Develop governance frameworks and best practices for global adoption.
Technology Administration
+ Ownand managemartechplatforms (Workfrontfor team collaboration and project management;Allocadiafor budget management and strategic investment reporting), integrations, and automation. _(While Salesforce ownership is not slated for this role, experience in and_ _understanding of_ _customer journeys, segmentation and automation is a_ _plus)._
+ Ensure data qualityrelated to program,processand budgetmanagement (nottraditionallead generation)andoptimalutilizationof tools to improve marketing performance.
+ Maintainmarketingtechnologyspecific to teamprocessand programs(nottraditionallead generation)roadmap aligned with enterprise initiatives.
+ Seek out and train on new opportunities for team productivity gains, notably AI.
Analytics & Reporting
+ Analyzeindividual and teamperformance through key metrics andprovideactionable insights.Use ofPower BI and intermediate or advanced Excelis key.
+ Manage budget reportingincluding monthly,quarterlyand annual reconciliation of the team budget.Youare comfortable with Allocadia/Uptempoor similar).
+ Deliver recommendations tooptimizemarketing investments and ROI.
Strategy & Innovation
+ Evaluate marketing strategies andidentifyopportunities for increased impact.
+ Stay informed on emerging technologies, AI-driven solutions, and industry trends.
+ Recommend innovative approaches to improve marketing effectiveness.
+ Support the director in communicating marketing messages to multiple audiences.
Training & Adoption
+ Promote best practices;deliver training sessions (in-person and virtual) toteams.
+ Develop clear documentation and onboarding materials for tools and processes.

What skills you will have:
• **Technical Expertise:** Experience in **marketing operations, technology, and project management** . Proficiency in marketing tech platforms (Workfront, Allocadia or similar), analytics tools (Salesforce, Power BI, Excel), strategic budget management, and process automation. Strong background in workflow optimization.
**Effective Communication:** Excellent ability to explain complex concepts clearly and manage global stakeholders.
**Creativity:** Familiarity with AI-driven marketing solutions and emerging technologies. Ability to identify opportunities to use innovate solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
**Industry Knowledge:** Mining industry experience preferred; understanding of the Caterpillar distribution model highly desired.
Top Candidates will also have:
Knowledge of Agile, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Additional Information:
The primary work location for this role is **Tucson, AZ,** with a requirement to work **on-site full-time** at a Caterpillar facility.
**Domestic relocation assistance** is available.
This position may require **up to 10 – 20 % travel** .
**Visa sponsorship, international assignments, or payroll transfers** are **not available** for this role.
Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
