+ This job is part of the Sales Operations Team within the Customer Division.
+ Responsible for leading a team of high performing data analysts, insight analysts, reporting analysts and operations analysts in transforming data into business insight by delivering a wide range of reports, dashboards and analytics. Plays a key role to empower the sales organization to formulate key strategies, improve business processes and measure impact of existing methods. Manages the sales relationship with internal groups such as Mosaic and Network Planning, and external vendors such as DDS.
+ The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. Will discover efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data and be tech-savvy and possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
What you'll do
• Leads a group of managers that lead a team of B2B servicing and payments. These teams identify trends in the market place and look for areas of opportunity, improvement processes working closely with corporate and agency account managers.
• Supports the development and execution of sales plans to help achieve revenue and growth targets for the sales and commercial organizations
• Builds relationships across the Sales and Commercial Planning & Performance organizations to ensure data and analytics effectively support broader business objectives
• Ensures data accuracy and reporting integrity by working with teams in Revenue Management Sales to enhance reporting capabilities and maintain consistency in sales data
• Provides performance insights to support the development of training programs, sales tools, and strategies that enhance team effectiveness
• Execute agency and corporate payments in a quarterly or Adhoc basis to corporate and agency partners
• Execute initiatives to improve agency and corporate servicing related to day of travel or customer experience
• Review sales performance and payment audit processes performed to determine additional validation checks and confirmation
• Develop automation and identify opportunities to simplify payment processes and align the structure of contracts
• Improve processes within sales programs and payments to enhance audit process
• Review contract and processing requirements to improve the processing timeline
• Provide timely data to the Sales Programs, Sales Planning and Performance Analytics and others to properly analyze payment rates
• Support budgeting, reporting and planning functions by properly perform payments in a systematic manner
• Ensures data accuracy and reporting integrity by working with teams in Revenue Management, Finance, Accounting and Sales to enhance reporting capabilities and maintain consistency in sales data
• Provides performance insights to support the development of training programs, sales tools, and strategies that enhance team effectiveness
• Oversee and guide proactive customer engagement, issue resolution, and escalated case management to ensure service excellence
• Drive alignment with sales objectives by supporting QBR preparation, account development activities, and local sales planning initiatives.
• Provide expertise, training, and resources to empower the service team, ensuring consistent execution of AA products and services.
• Act as the primary liaison with internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery of solutions related to payments and servicing.
• Lead projects related to UATP and other forms of payment related to B2B sales
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in business planning, financial planning, analytics
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• 3-5 years experience managing and leading cross-functional teams
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis
• Experience in the airline, travel, or hospitality industry
• Experience working with senior leadership to develop long-term strategic plans
• In-depth knowledge of business analytics processes, tools, and methodologies
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage teams and lead cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and curiosity with Artificial Intelligence tools (Copilot, Chat GPT, etc)
• Effective communication with all levels of external and internal customers
• Strong organization, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• Position requires high flexibility and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Able to build strategic partnerships and exceptional relationships with internal and external customers.
