As a solution strategist you will be responsible for shaping new enterprise edge solution strategy and development. This is achieved by understanding industry technology trends and customer unmet needs within high priority use-case solution areas, and by spending time with our research team, and through deep interaction with our customers. This role translates use-case solution priorities into requirements and/or new solution offering definitions that our development team will build and deliver back to our organization and customers. With your knowledge of the marketplace and use-case solution priority areas you will drive product release strategy and processes, monetization of our offerings, and third-party technology integration. As a solution strategist you are an innovator, empathetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment, is strong with making data-driven decisions, and a keen learner of new technologies. You are a strong collaborator and work closely with engineering and research and development to create products and validate product relevance. This role is both strategic and technical in nature and requires meaningful industry expertise, results orientation, self-accountability, and a self-starter workstyle.
*This role is based in office hybrid 3 x minimum per week* (Holtsville, NY or Lincolnshire, IL)
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Healthcare Agentic AI
+ + Translate technology innovation, feedback from customers, and application needs into requirements that can be picked up by our development and engineering teams.
+ Facilitate the discussion of development prioritization and provide market perspective on requirement prioritization.
+ Create and maintain a product release roadmap by leading product life cycle from idea generation to tactical activities for both short and long term development needs.
+ Collaborate with research and development teams, data engineering, product management, product engineering and infrastructure to prioritize features based on customer requirements, risk management, risk mitigation, and product lifecycles.
+ Support a continuous delivery process delivering new features and functionalities to the organization and customers on at least a monthly basis.
+ Create a robust requirement set for technical integration with third-party technology platforms.
+ Responsible for the ongoing review of the competitive environment using information gained via publications, industry knowledge, conferences etc.
+ Work closely with internal stakeholders throughout the development process, negotiate / influence design trade-offs that may be needed, while preserving the requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s required (preferably in N ursing, Business Administration and/or solution strategy related fields)
+ 10+ years of industry experience (Preferred in nursing workflow solutions) ideally with expertise in industry use-cases, technology, portfolio design and customer solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree (preferably in N ursing, Business Administration and/or solution strategy related fields
Key Skills and Competence
+ Proficient in edge technology environments, use-case and solution offering strategy
+ Proficient in product management and software development related to the nursing informatics field
+ Proven ability to capture customer and partner requirements that ensure that the products meet the business needs
+ Proven ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholder groups such as product management organizations, ecosystem partners, and Zebra GTM team members and resources.
+ Demonstrated experiences leading marketplace success and successful outcomes in product, solution, and strategy activities.

Salary: USD 174400.00 - USD 261600.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
