    Aveanna Healthcareis seeking a dedicated and compassionateOccupational Therapist (OT)to join our team and providegoal-oriented, center-based therapyfor pediatric clients. OurPediatric Day Health Care Centersare cheerful, engaging spaces designed especially for children with complex medical needs — places where therapy, learning, and play come together to help little ones grow and thrive.

    •Position Details

    •Rate:Starting at$40/hour

    •Schedule:Monday – Friday, daytime only

    •No nights. No weekends. No holidays.

    •What You’ll Do

     

    As anOccupational Therapist (OT), you’ll play an essential role in helping children achieve greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.

    Your Responsibilities Include:

    + Deliveringoccupational therapy servicesas prescribed by a physician.

    + Conductingcomprehensive evaluationsto identify therapy needs, goals, and expected outcomes.

    + Developing and implementing apersonalized Plan of Care, coordinating with nurses and healthcare staff.

    + Administeringtherapeutic techniquesto meet developmental and functional goals.

    + Maintainingopen communicationwith families, team members, and physicians to ensure quality, consistent care.

    + Ensuringpatient safetyand adherence to best practices.

    + Acting as aresource and mentorfor clinical staff.

    + SupervisingCOTAsandHHAsas required.

    + Participating incase conferences, in-services, and team meetingsto support collaborative care.

    •Requirements

    + Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapyfrom an accredited program.

    + Current, unrestricted Florida OT license.

    + Certification in Occupational Therapy.

    + Current CPR certification.

    + Demonstrated proficiency inclinical assessments, documentation, and compliancewith care standards.

    •Preferred Qualifications

    + One (1) year of recent experience inacute care or rehabilitation.

    + Pediatric experiencehighly preferred.

    •Skills & Abilities

    + Strongattention to detailand excellenttime managementskills.

    + Effectiveproblem-solvingandconflict resolutionabilities.

    + Compassionate communicator with outstandingorganization and teamworkskills.

    + Ability to maintainprofessional boundariesand ensureconfidentialityat all times.

    •Physical Requirements

    + Ability tolift up to 50 lbsand reposition patients safely.

    + Comfortable withstanding, walking, bending, kneeling, and twistingfor extended periods.

    + Strongvisual and hearing acuity.

    + Able to respond effectively toemergency situationsboth physically and mentally.

    •Work Environment

    + Function comfortably in a variety ofcenter-based environments.

    + May involve exposure toallergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.

    + Maintain asafe, nurturing, and positive spacefor every child and family.
