Who We Are
Wayfair believes everyone should live in a home they love. Through technology and innovation, Wayfair makes it possible for shoppers to quickly and easily find exactly what they want from a selection of more than 30M+ million products across home furnishings, decor, home improvement, housewares and more. Suppliers are crucial partners and the Global Supplier Technology (GST) team builds end-to-end solutions for our Suppliers as well as the underlying foundational data platform & Machine Learning capabilities.
We're building AI agents that will fundamentally transform how a $12B e-commerce business operates. Copilots are cute but we’re building autonomous systems that interface with suppliers, optimize product content, and make decisions that directly impact millions of customer transactions. We’re building the infrastructure layer for the next generation of e-commerce and we’re looking for PM leaders to chart the course and deliver against an ambitious vision. Wayfair's relationship with its Suppliers and the strength of our Supplier network is one of our 5 pillars for success. We manage 30M+ products, thousands of supplier relationships, and a staggeringly complex merchandising operation and we believe agentic AI will help us improve Supplier relationships and ensure our Supplier network remains a competitive advantage.
We are looking for a Senior PM who is both a visionary and a master executor to drive 0 to 1 Agentic products to uplevel our relationship with Suppliers. This leader will have a massive impact touching nearly all aspects of operating our e-commerce business. Success will take the form of driving core metrics that drive both Wayfair’s top line and bottom line including but not limited to making Wayfair more price competitive, improving our speed and reducing return & incident rates.
As a PM leader for this space, you will define the long term vision and opportunity for this role as well as the multi cycle roadmap and are responsible for delivering and scaling new agentic solutions that solve our highest impact problems. You will partner closely with engineering, product, science and commercial teams to bring your product vision to life.
What You’ll Do
+ Own the product vision & roadmap for agentic AI solutions across our Merchandising and Supplier Technology teams focused on Suppliers and Merchandising customers.
+ Sequence work to deliver near-term value while building toward a long term vision you’ll articulate and align with Consumer Technology, Supplier Technology and Merchandising teams.
+ Own roadmap planning and manage execution with dedicated Engineering, Machine Learning Science, Experience Design, and Data Science teams.
+ Own key build vs. buy decisions and drive leadership alignments.
+ Evolve our strategy as we learn and adjust our business goals, and work cross-functionally to continually improve velocity of insights and experimentation.
+ Define product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams across departments, including Consumer Technology, Supplier Technology, Merchandising and other teams.
+ Partner with the engineering team to drive timely and smooth execution through sprint rituals like grooming, planning and retrospective.
+ Influence the evolution of Wayfair's strategy for agentic workflows and multi-agent architectures.
We Are A Match Because You Have
+ Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic record (strong preference for technical/ engineering backgrounds)
+ 7+ years of product management experience, including recently demonstrated AI-enabled impact.
+ Deep familiarity with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini), prompt engineering, embeddings, and GenAI workflows is essential. This position demands someone who is truly immersed in AI, actively engaging with and leveraging these tools to drive innovation.
+ Experience with AI evaluation, hallucination mitigation, or RAG pipelines
+ The ability to translate complex AI concepts (e.g., embeddings, prompting strategies, vector search, eval frameworks) into usable, testable product features
+ Strong technical background with a passion for breaking down challenging problems
+ Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior leadership level, as well as with cross-functional teams, including the ability to partner with engineering teams and explain technical terminology to non-technical audiences
