    About the Role

    We are hiring an experienced Backend Software Engineer to play a critical role in scaling ManageCasa’s platform and advancing our enhanced features . This role will have a direct, measurable impact on customer experience, system reliability, and operational efficiency .

     

    You will work closely with the CTO and other engineers, developing the backend systems that power our core product, integrations, and emerging AI functionality.

    What You’ll Do

    + Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and core platform features

    + Collaborate closely with the team to design, implement, and test internal and external APIs

    + Develop and support backend systems that enable workflows, automation, and insights

    + Diagnose and resolve production issues to improve performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction

    + Contribute to experimentation, measurement, and continuous improvement in a lean startup environment

    What We’re Looking For

    + 3+ years of backend engineering experience at a web-based technology company (startup experience preferred)

    + Expert-level proficiency in Python , preferably using Django

    + Familiarity with AI/ML integrations , such as:

    + Working with AI APIs (LLMs, automation services, or data-driven systems)

    + Supporting AI features through backend pipelines, data processing, or orchestration

    + 1–2 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and experimentation or A/B testing

    + Strong knowledge of modern data stores and infrastructure, including:

    + Aurora / MySQL

    + ElasticSearch or OpenSearch

    + Redis or similar caching layers

    + Strong project ownership, task prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills

    + Hybrid role

    + In Office Tuesday and Thursday
