Truck Wash Attendant

Reports To : Truck Wash Manager, Assistant Manager, Store Manager

Job Summary :

The truck wash attendant is responsible for completing customer transactions for truck, RV, and bus wash sales in an efficient and accurate manner. The truck wash attendant is responsible for greeting and queuing trucks, RV’s, and buses into the wash entrance as well as assisting the customer with selecting the appropriate wash. The truck wash attendant is also responsible for maintaining a clean working environment, completing manual wash work on each vehicle to supplement the automated wash, and providing daily reporting related to their shift. A qualified candidate will be required to have good grooming, communication skills, and reliable attendance. The position requires you to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and lift up to 35-50 pounds. The position also requires you to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.

Rate of pay $16.50/HR

+ Maintain a clean truck wash area and operation.

+ Ensure wash soap and chemical inventory.

+ Responsible for processing transactions for customers at the point of sale.

+ Knowledgeable of truck wash pricing, policies, and operations.

+ Immediately report any equipment issues or customer incidents to the Car Wash Manager, Assistant Manager, or Manager.

+ Other duties as assigned by the car wash manager.

+ This is a full-time position.

Education / Experience : High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is recommended but not required.
