• Trust Specialist

    Vanguard (Malvern, PA)


    Responsibilities

    + Conducts initial analyses of trust documents to determine acceptability and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Communicates processes, procedures, and requirements to clients, as needed.

    + Completes day to day administration of trust accounts. This may include coordinating and facilitating transactions, new account openings, terminations, beneficiary updates, and account reviews.

    + Act as a key point of contact for clients and their advisors in partnership with Senior Trust Advisors.  May prepare client presentation materials and participate in client meetings.

    + Maintains understanding of trust administration as well as all compliance, regulatory, and departmental policies.

    + Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Three years of experience in the wealth management industry required. Experience in the administration and support of trust and estates space preferred.

    + Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

    + Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation (or ability to obtain within departmental guidelines) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
