Status: Part-time, Benefit-Eligible

Average Hours per pay period: 56 hours every 2 weeks

+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

+ Participates in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen including, clean up of café, catering, special events, and dish area. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with Morris Hospital policy and IDPH and other regulatory agency regulations. Operates and properly maintains food service equipment including the dish machine.

+ QUALIFICATIONS

+ Professional/Educational

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ Food service experience preferred.

+ Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.

+ Experience with kitchen equipment preferred.

+ Personal

+ Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.

+ Must demonstrate good social skills and a commitment to quality.

+ Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
