    Description:

    Position is responsible for developing a network of talent for identified positions. Identify talent through passive and active sources including social networking, personal networking, Internet research and data mining. Performs research, resume mining, list generation and cold calling of potential candidates through advanced Internet searches, in-depth data mining, and other research techniques.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Works collaboratively with Team Members and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.

    • Coordinates the sourcing and screening of candidates for open positions, including email, mail, text, and phone.

    • Creates, maintains, and manages position requisitions, job postings and applications.

    • Mines data of social media sites, recruitment databases, and other resources.

    • Utilize the applicant tracking system to monitor active applicants, open positions, and requisitions in approval process.

    • Create and maintain social media accounts such as Facebook and LinkedIn. Develop social media content to post on accounts.

    • Make cold calls to candidates to determine interest level.

    • Research and develop advertising plans and create and place ads as needed to maintain applicant pool.

    • Review social media accounts for candidates to determine fit with Mercy values.

    • Utilizes collected information coupled with recruitment tools and techniques to build viable candidate pools in alignment with the organizations pipeline needs. Create and maintain a tracking system for pipeline.

    • Evaluates sourcing methods through collected feedback to identify and overcome gaps.

    • Facilitate the Provider Position Control Approval Process including distribution and tracking of forms, community need information, and meeting agendas and minutes.

    • In coordination with the Director, forecast recruitment needs for assigned areas. Develop a recruitment plan for “hard to fill” positions.

    • Fosters a strong relationship with provider search firms.

    • Maintains applicable files on the shared drive, including resumes, references, etc.

    • Develop relationships with medical schools, residency and fellowship programs.

    MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Assists as needed with new provider onboarding process.

    • Review turnover to identify trends or concerns and develop a plan of action

    • Completes and files EEO/AA reports; Monitors plan implementation and recommended responses.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field required

    • Three years of experience in human resources or healthcare required.

    • Demonstrate positive customer service orientation

    • Strong organizational skills.

    • Excellent attention to detail.
