    _Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!_

     

    **Pay:** $22/hr

    **Schedule:** 9a-5p

    **Type of Job:** 1 year assignment with possible extension

    Responsibilities:

    + Testing of in-process and final products

    + Microbial testing for environmental monitoring

    + Collecting air samples and testing

    + Water testing

    + Prepping and maintenance of supplies

    + Operating lab equipment

    + Ordering supplies

    + Preparing media

    + Cleaning glassware and running the autoclave **Requirements:**

    + Bachelor’s degree – Microbiology preferred OR Associate’s with microbiological experience

    + Experience with microbiological techniques

    + Plating samples

    + Enumeration of bacterial colonies

    + Gram stain techniques
