    _Our client is a growing health science company focused on developing innovative solutions. They are looking for a skilled Account Manager to join their team!_

     

    Role Overview

     

    The Account Manager focuses on supporting B2B customers or distributor partners by coordinating across order operations, finance, and logistics. This role manages day-to-day account tasks, maintains customer relationships, and ensures efficient delivery of ingredient-based solutions.

     

    **Location:** Orange County, CA or Remote (Must be able to work PST hours)

    **Job type:** Direct- hire

    **Salary Range** : $70K- $100K

    Key Responsibilities

    Order & Invoice Management

    + Handle purchase orders from receipt through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in pricing, terms, and quantities.

    + Issue invoices or pro forma invoices and align them with agreed terms.

    + Work with logistics to match shipments to customer payment timelines.

    + Address and resolve discrepancies in pricing, delivery, or payment.

    + Report on order status, payments, and upcoming receivables.

    Customer & Distributor Relationships

    + Serve as a primary contact for customers and distributors.

    + Build and maintain long-term relationships, providing timely support and guidance.

    + Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through contracting.

    + Collaborate on joint business plans, forecasting, and growth initiatives.

    + Provide product training, regulatory support (when needed), and marketing/science materials.

    Cross-Functional Coordination

    + Liaise with finance, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution.

    + Help improve forecasting by working closely with customers.

    + Prepare and present account performance metrics and insights.

    Growth & Strategy

    + Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

    + Develop and execute account strategies that align with business goals.

    + Use data-driven insights to surface risks and opportunities.

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in account management, sales operations, or a related role.

    + Experience in a B2B or ingredients / CPG / nutraceutical-adjacent environment is a plus.

    + Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems to manage the order-to-cash process.

    + Understanding of financial processes (invoicing, credit, reconciliation).

    + Strong organizational skills – ability to multitask and manage details.

    + Analytical mindset; can use data to drive improvements and decisions.

    + Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
