Pediatrician

$200,000+/yr based on experience

LaSante Health Center is seeking a Pediatrician to join our multispecialty, community-based health center in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to children from infancy through adolescence, with a strong commitment to preventive care and family education. Creole-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide primary and preventive care for pediatric patients, including routine checkups, immunizations, and developmental screenings

+ Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children and adolescents

+ Counsel patients and families on nutrition, growth, and overall wellness

+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

+ Participate in quality improvement and public health initiatives

+ Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

+ Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

+ Board certification

+ Current New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure

+ Experience in community health or outpatient pediatrics preferred

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Bilingual Creole/English strongly preferred
