Presort/Barcode Operator
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Full-Time: A typical work schedule is standard business hours, with the flexibility to handle escalations or support during peak times or special projects.
Pay Schedule: Non-exempt gets paid weekly
(Non-Exempt): Compensation starts at $37,440–$43,000 annually, depending on experience.
Shift Differential: 2nd Shift, +$1. hour, 3rd Shift, +$2. Hour (Based on hours worked)
Benefits: Begin the first day after the first two full months of employment.

Position Summary
This role plays a critical part in supporting our organizational goals. The incumbent will act as a central point of coordination, execution, and communication across the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and operational efficiency. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Operate presort and barcode machines for outgoing mail processing.
• Ensure machine is set up properly and mail is sorted accurately.
• Monitor machine operation and perform minor maintenance or adjustments.
• Maintain logs and quality records in accordance with postal guidelines.
• Sort trays and organize mail per USPS and company requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating presort/barcode equipment preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet production quotas.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Additional Responsibilities
Employees may be required to perform duties outside their primary responsibilities or assigned department, as reasonably requested by management. These duties may occasionally occur outside regular working hours, provided they align with applicable labor laws.
On-Call Requirements
If you are called in to work outside your regular schedule, you are expected to work at least four hours unless otherwise directed by management.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
+ Work is performed in a warehouse or production facility environment.
+ May be exposed to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and printing chemicals.
+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push 800 pounds on a load-bearing cart, carry 25 pounds, and pull 200 pounds.
+ Must be able to use hand tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
+ Requires frequent standing, walking, crouching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and using repetitive motions of hands or wrists; finger, grasp, handle, or feel; reach with arms and hands for extended periods.
+ Fast-paced, deadline-driven setting requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
