Supply Chain Associate

Our client is a large food manufacturer with plants in NY and NJ. Due to growth, seeking a Supply Chain Associate to join the Supply Chain Dept. Primary duties include:
+ **Floor-based material verification:** Ensures accurate staging, lot/expiration control, FIFO compliance, and correctness of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods against system records.
+ **Batch execution & system accuracy:** Supports batch start-through-close, performs in-process checks, and completes batch closeouts in ERP/MES systems while validating quantities and resolving material discrepancies.
+ **Inventory control & reconciliation:** Conducts cycle count checks, identifies and investigates mismatches between physical and system inventory, and collaborates with Warehouse/Planning to correct errors quickly.
+ **Cross-functional coordination:** Acts as an operational link between Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Planning, providing real-time floor feedback and escalating recurring system or material issues.
+ **Process discipline & continuous improvement:** Upholds SOPs, assists with training on material handling/system transactions, supports audits/mock recalls, and contributes to process gap identification and corrective actions.
Position reports to Supply Chain Manager and will be working in NJ.
Ideal candidates for Supply Chain Associate will possess the following:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or similar
+ 3+ years experience in FDA regulated environment
+ Experience with ERP systems
+ Understanding of GMP
+ Proficient with MS Excel
Salary up to $75k/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc.
**Pay Details:** $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
