This role is a Temporary to Permanent position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Selecting equipment, planning the layouts and planning the assembly of product.
+ Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
+ Experience in fabrication to measure and make custom beams to fit. Repairing product using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
+ Cleaning and preparing surfaces to be welded. Sets up, assembles, and welds parts accurately to weld codes.
+ Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in fixture for welding.
+ Sets up equipment and welds parts, using TIG/MIG on stainless steel and other materials as needed.
+ Repairing products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
+ Keeping equipment and work area clean and organized up to 5s standards.
+ Support the Modules Assembly Team as needed/requested.
+ Ability to work with machine shop and with machined materials keeping specified tolerances.
+ All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to document individual work orders.
+ Ability to speak effectively to co-workers, supervisor, and other departments to clarify work orders and blueprints.
+ Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as algebra, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
+ Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
+ Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
+ Willing and able to be forklift Certified.
+ Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
+ 2-year certificate from technical school and minimum 2 years welding experience or 1-year certificate from a technical school and a minimum 2-3 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

May be exposed to various workplace hazards, including chemicals, machinery, and noise. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
