As a **Security Officer - Dispatch Operations** in **Texas City, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and badge processes. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and coordinate communication between personnel, visitors, and emergency responders at the location using dispatch systems.

+ Receive and document all incoming calls and requests for assistance, prioritizing responses according to site-specific procedures.

+ Maintain accurate records of incidents, activities, and communications in dispatch logs and reports.

+ Assist in the coordination of emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

+ Support field personnel by relaying information and dispatching resources as needed for security-related incidents or routine operations.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining awareness of site operations and reporting irregularities.

+ Provide customer service by responding professionally and promptly to inquiries and requests from employees and visitors at the location.

+ Follow all site-specific policies and procedures relevant to the chemical and petrochemical environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
