As a **Security Officer - Auto Patrol Lead** in **Normal, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Officer in an auto industry location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible to those on site. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This role requires driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential risks.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns encountered during patrols within the automotive environment.

+ Communicate clearly with team members, site staff, and/or visitors as required to address questions and support site operations.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
