    As a **Security Officer - Armed Bank Site Patrol** in **Charlotte, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with individuals on site, and delivering exceptional customer service.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

    + Monitor access points and check for proper identification, assisting with the control of entry and exit at the location.

    + Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide assistance as needed to clients, employees, and visitors.

    + Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site policies.

    + Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or unusual situations, following Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines.

    + Carry and maintain responsibility for assigned weapon in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific requirements, adhering to all applicable regulations and policies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

    + Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
