Description:
Trinity Health Highland Haven/Meadowview Independent Living Senior Communities is dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards in our facilities. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Highland, MI, who is experienced in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC.
This position is a 247 on call position.
Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4 pm shift
Responsibilities:
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and some general grounds maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
+ Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential problems.
+ Ensure compliance and safety and building codes.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
+ Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
+ Work with external vendors on getting appropriate bids for larger scale projects.
+ Assist with ordering general supplies needed for the maintenance department.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent technical certification in maintenance or related field is preferred.
+ Proven experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of team.
+ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
