    **Exciting Opportunity at MSK:** Join our dynamic **Inpatient Hepatobiliary Surgery Service** as an **Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)** and play a pivotal role in patient recovery and care.

    Role Overview:

    You will be at the forefront of managing post-operative care, addressing complications, and working alongside a collaborative team of expert surgeons and fellows. As part of a team of over 900 APPs at MSK, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, all while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.

    Key Qualifications:

    + Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations

    + Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)

    + A Minimum of 2+ years of relevant clinical experience with inpatient surgery experience preferred

    + Related National NP certification

    + BLS/ ACLS certification

    OR

    + Graduate from an accredited PA program

    + A minimum of 0-1+ years of experience as an experienced PA in surgical oncology preferred

    + NCCPA certification

    + Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure

    + BLS/ACLS certification

    Core Skills:

    + Strong decision-making abilities, ensuring timely and effective actions that keep the organization moving forward

    + Skilled in anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple team members, promoting a cohesive work environment

    + Effective communicator, capable of engaging with diverse groups and fostering open, relatable interactions

    + Highly adaptable, adjusting approach and demeanor in real-time to meet the shifting demands of various situations

    + Collaborative, working seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care to inpatient Hepatobiliary surgery patients

    + Proficient in implementing patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum

    Additional Information:

    **Location:** 1275 York Ave NY, NY

    **Hours** :12.5 hour shifts, 6a-6:30p weekend rotation may be required

    **Reports to:** Associate Director, APP

    **Pay Range:** $155,500 - $197,400/annually
