Our client is seeking a Manufacturing IT Technician to focus on supporting Plant IT systems, optimizing network performance, and general IT services including moves, additions, changes, and hardware/software fixes while addressing client concerns through troubleshooting. As a Manufacturing IT Technician, you must have working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, along with experience supporting related IT systems in these types of work environments. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization. This position will require the flexibility to work day and/or afternoon shifts, along with weekends when needed.
Job Title: Manufacturing IT Technician
Pay Rate: Pay will be up to $32/hour (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform installations, moves, additions, and changes to network hardware as requested by clients.
+ Support both planned and unplanned client facility power outages.
+ Identify and escalate any issues or hazards related to client moves, cabling installations, or fault resolution.
+ Utilize client tools such as the Incident Ticketing System (ServiceNow) and Change Control systems.
Requirements
+ Previous Plant Floor Experience
+ Four years of IT support and network services experience in a client environment preferred.
+ Effective time management and task prioritization.
