About the role: The Program Director role is responsible for the clinical and operational oversight of assigned region(s). The Director is responsible for clinical excellence, staff and client satisfaction, compliance, and budget alignment. In addition, this role supervises, leads, and mentors clinical leaders and partners with business development and marketing to growth assigned regions, increase brand awareness, and promotes the brand as a leading partner in the communities we serve while adhering to regulatory requirements and fostering a positive team culture.
Essential Functions:
• The Program Director is responsible for processes and procedures related to program regulations, client retention, and program growth.
• Ensures strict adherence to all applicable regulatory, compliance, and quality standards.
• Manages and monitor budgets within areas of responsibility.
• Aligns client outreach and growth initiatives with care team capacity and coverage while proactively developing staffing plans to support optimal care delivery across assigned areas.
• Supports marketing initiatives to increase awareness of Vitra's quality standards.
• Collaborates with clinical and operational leadership to ensure processes are efficient and align with operational and clinical standards.
• Regularly review compliance reports and metrics to identify areas for improvement and in collaboration with clinical leadership, develop strategies to maintain compliance and clinical excellence.
• In partnership with the COO, develops and implements policies, procedures, and operational processes to ensure programming regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.
• Stays updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices and collaborates with Vitra's leadership team to implement changes as indicated.
• Maintains a Vitra-wide approach to processes and change management, ensuring consistent implementation across all Vitra Mentors, and develops managers to ensure performance management and feedback align with professional standards and clinical excellence.
• Continuously Identifies direct report managers' growth opportunities and provides professional development support and coaching.
• Fosters a positive team culture by ensuring region managers set clear expectations, facilitates comprehensive training on systems and processes, and continuously reviews patterns and performance.
• Oversee timely completion of performance evaluations and coaching within assigned regions, ensuring alignment with policies and performance standards.
• Regularly analyze key performance metrics, such as staffing template utilization, client satisfaction, client, and staff retention, and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and quality of care.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for Vitra reflecting our vision, mission, and values.
• Show genuine interest and compassion for the communities we serve and commitment to the diversity of our clients and team members.
• Mentors and supports team members.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and opportunities as needed.
Education, Experience and Licensure Requirements:
• Experience building a business, delivering against ambitious targets, in a fast paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
• The Program Director shall have at least a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with the target population.
• Experience in managing Structured living Program or similar home care program.
• Leadership experience managing multiple teams.
• Conceptual and analytical critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills
• Customer service mentality
• Able to work independently & willing to work in the Field as needed.
• Able to travel to assigned areas required.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
• Works in a clean well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures near others.
• Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
• Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
