    Job Description:

    **Position Summary** :

    Supports the RN Clinical Manager and nursing staff as follows:

    + Serves as a role model and resource for nursing personnel, and promotes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other health disciplines in the management of the practice and needs of patients and families.

    + Leads clinical staff team members and others by supporting department and organization goals and initiatives through role modeling and active participation in the change process.

    + Provides leadership and management of the practice, acting in place of the nurse manager in their absence with 24/7 accountability.

    + Builds on the skills, competencies and job description of the HFM staff nurse.

    **Essential Job Functions:** The “primary” job duties of the position that the individual holds.

    Salary Range:

    $44.26 - $56.00 an hour

    Job Requirements:

    1. Education - Fulfilled the educational requirements to be a licensed Nurse in NYS; Bachelor’s is preferred

    2. Experience (minimum) – 5 years as RN

    3. License/Certification Required – NYS License, CPR

    4. Skills (to include equipment, software, etc.) – Demonstrates potential to meet NL role requirements.

    **Population Served:** Culturally diverse population, neonates through geriatrics.
