Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent college graduate who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced operations environment. The Supply Chain Analyst will support reporting, assist with special cross-functional projects, help manage inventory accuracy, develop meaningful KPIs, and work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Inventory Management:
+ Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.
+ Analyze inventory trends and help identify root causes for discrepancies.
+ Assist in implementing process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
+ Supplier Management:
+ Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery updates, and issue resolution.
+ Track supplier performance and support vendor scorecard reporting.
+ Assist in onboarding new suppliers and maintaining supplier records.
+ Metrics, Data Analysis & KPIs:
+ Collect, clean, and analyze supply chain data from SAP and other internal systems.
+ Develop dashboards, KPIs, and standardized reports to measure performance (e.g., OTD, inventory turns, PO accuracy, supplier performance).
+ Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support decision-making.
+ Support leadership with weekly and monthly reporting packages.
+ Special Projects:
+ Partner with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Production, Quality, Finance) on assigned projects.
+ Gather data, perform analysis, and prepare presentations or recommendations.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/SUMIF, charts); familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
+ Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems preferred, but training will be provided.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
+ Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
+ May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
+ Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
+ Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
+ Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
