Pay Rate:

What you'll be doing as a Snow Removal Worker:

+ Shoveling and Clearing: Manually remove snow from sidewalks, walkways, stairways, entrances, decks, and around obstacles like fire hydrants, mailboxes, and signs

+ Operating Equipment (if applicable): Safely and efficiently operate snow removal machinery, which can include:

+ Snow blowers for pathways and smaller lots

+ Plow trucks, skid steers, or loaders for clearing large parking lots and roadways

+ De-Icing: Apply ice-melting agents like rock salt, calcium chloride, or sand to clear ice and prevent new accumulation on cleared surfaces. This is often done before and after a snow or ice event

Job requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

+ Is an ON CALL JOB

+ Must have on-call availability, heavy lifting, early/late hours, Strong tolerance for exposure to weather conditions and the elements

+ Use shovels and other equipment to remove snow

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

+ Good mobility with ability to bend and twist

+ Able to work in cold weather conditions
